The work presented in the performance: Impermanent Bodies explores ceremony passed down during cycles of death and rebirth. By resurrecting mythic stories, the artist explores our innate connection to the earth. The performance invites audience members to place an earth offering at the altar. As we are called to place offerings at the altar, we create extensions of our own cosmic universe. Bringing us together to recall our responsibility, gratitude, connection to land, life, and ceremony.
